Robert Rodriguez written reboot/prequel/whatever it is 'Predators' might have locked in a director if Ain’t It Cool News is to be believed:

Quote
Though [Neil] Marshall would've been my first choice out of the likely possibilities, I can't say I have a huge problem with Nimrod Antal taking on the franchise reboot. Antal's best work to date is KONTROLL, an adrenaline-charged action flick about Budapest subway ticket inspectors which felt like an audition for the Hollywood big time. Within a year of that film's release, Antal was directing VACANCY for Screen Gems. Don't hold it against him. This year, he's got ARMORED, which looks to be an above-average heist flick powered by a collection of top-notch character actors. He's got chops.

Here's where Harry contacts PREDATORS producer Robert Rodriguez...

I haven't seen Kontroll so I can't comment on the quality of that film but I can say that I thought Vacancy was better than it probably should have been. Whether that is down to Nimrod's direction or the quality of the cast (Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson) I don't know, but at least it shows that the man can direct a serviceable movie. The fact that he has experience directing action on a low budget bodes well I think, since it forces the director to focus on what makes the action exciting, and this translates well when the budgets are inflated (as Mr. Rodriguez himself has demonstrated). There is hope for this film yet.

Vacancy has a REALLY good start but dissolves into a weak ending.

The direction is fantastic. I"m all for this.

I really hope Neil Marshall does this film, this film needs someone who can film chaos.. too bad Marcus Nispel is doing Conan.
