Sacha Baron Cohen's forthcoming
Bruno has had a scene cut, just days after the initial press screening.
The scene features Bruno talking to La Toya Jackson while sitting on Mexican furniature and trying to get her brother's phone number out of her.
In the wake of Micheal Jackson's (you my have heard of him) death from heart attack at the age of fifty, Universal has made the deicsion to cut the scene in its entirety - even though Micheal is only mentioned and the scene's point is that Bruno is trying to get La Toya to give up his number.
It's an interesting move - by the time the film has come out in all territories, the onslaught of sad Jackson fans doing sad things in his memory is likely to be at its end. Maybe this will be reinstated in the DVD?
