I've also heard that Patrick Stewart has died in a car crash. I'd expect that's not true either.

After Farrah Fawcett dying and Michael Jackson dying it looked like the end of the world was happening and everyone should convert to Scientology. In the panic Jeff Goldblum, Patrick Stewart and Harrison Ford were also assumed dead.
