Harry Potter and the Oh My Good God We Waited An Extra Six Months for This Tripe has been disappointing audiences worldwide to the tune of $159 million in just five days, with $79 million of this coming from US tickets alone.

This puts it miles ahead of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix which opened with $139 million, going on to make an impressive $938 million worldwide. Unfortunately, Potter VI: The Curse of Harry Potter did not beat the incredible speed of Transformers: Bay Steals Your Soul which broke $200 million in just five days.

Elsewhere in the top ten, Bruno dropped a galling 72% down to fourth place, bringing its total to a crushing $50 million - a whole $200 million behind the performance of Borat. Perhaps the gay content is just too much for some people, huh?

And now for the news that will make sane people's heads explode: Transformers: Jesus Christ Somebody Got Paid For This has opened in China... and smashed the previous best record, making $58 million (400 million yuan). The previous best was held by Titanic since 1998 with $52 million, while the first Robot Smackdown Picture made $37 million.

And that's all for this week. Tune in next time to see if Harry gets knocked off the top spot, while Rosanna deals with her pregnancy.

I was very disappointed. They had the best book, removed all the mystery and thrills and just left us with a boring, too-long film where everything just happened. They even cut the climactic battle, making parts of the last film irrelevant.

It's all snogging and girlfriends, not wizard battles and power.

That's the exact opposite of what I experienced at school.
