First, let's get the formalities out of the way:

WHAT THE FECK?!

Xzibit, the presenter of "Pimp My Ride", with a major credit in "8-Mile", apparently became free after the Writer's Strike held up production of a film he was supposed to be in.

Amanda Peet is currently on the small screen in "Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip", but she stars in the motion picture "Martian Child", another alien movie.

Billy Connolly... well, he was surprisingly good in "The Last Samurai" and "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events", so maybe it'll work. My money's on Connolly as an alien abductee. From the future. Who holds a key that can change the entire universe. And wears a bear skin rug over his genitals. Maybe none of that was true - the plot is held tighter than a nun's cherry.

Still, it seems like a strange bunch to cast in a revival movie.
