Ukrainian beauty Mila Kunis, it has just been announced, is set to star alongside Natalie Portman in Darren Aronofsky's upcoming thriller
Black Swan. Kunis is best known for being in
That 70's Show,
Family guy and for dating former child superstar Macaulay Culkin who according to a reliable source
isn't 8 anymore.
Black Swan is about a woman in the New York City ballet (Portman) who may or may not be imagining things about an apparent rival(Kunis?). It sounds like an interesting concept. Natalie Portman I like apart from when she did that cringey English accent in
V for Vendetta (up there with Dick Van Dyke and Don Cheadle as one of the worst) and of course Aranofsky is an extremely talented director.
The Wrestler confirmed Aronofsky's status as one of the best American filmmakers around at the moment so any project he is involved with is definitely worth getting excited about. He is also set to direct a 'reboot' of the sci-fi classic
Robocop which I am a
little bit dubious about. To me Aronofsky and Robocop don't seem like two things that were ever destined to meet but it's an interesting prospect nevertheless.
