Entertainment Tonight will apparently be showing a feature on Peter Jackson's 'The Lovely Bones' and they have released a trailer that features a bit of footage from the trailer. So it is essentially a trailer for a trailer. But it's the first footage we have seen from the movie thus far so check it out below.
From Ain't it cool news:
Entertainment Tonight has the glimpse of moving footage, which looks beautiful even if it has usual ET inane drivel talking over it. They seem to think the murdered girl is "hunting her killer from beyond the grave." Um. No, not really.
But whatever, it looks sharp and I love the fantasy world Jackson is creating for Susie's heaven. And if you read the book I think you'll know I'm not talking out of my ass when I say that Susan Sarandon has a great part. There might be some gold for her coming next year if it comes off as well as I think it will.
The studio behind the film decided to hold back the release so it will be eligible for next year's Oscars, so that should give you a clue as to the standard we should be expecting from this film.
