Haha Sheridan, the thing is you'll probably be right.

The games were Halo, Gears of War and Mass Effect, there are others but that's all i can remember right now, Sony did churn out similar games but normally only after the 360 had already secured more console sales off the back of games like these.
Don't get me wrong i was a die-hard Sony man but i think they have dropped the ball recently and will take a new machine to turn things round for them at this stage.

Killzone 2, Infamous, Little Big Planet and Resistance 1 and 2 are good PS3 games. Sony is just now starting to release really good exclusive games. An anticipated one is Heavy Rain, for me, or M.A.G.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is amazing when you are actually PLAYING, watching all those cut scenes nearly cost me my degree.

I enjoyed MGS4 but it was very very linear, you couldn't exactly explore and there was normally only a couple of ways you could complete a kill/task, so far from perfect  Wink

Wow

Actually I bought a PS2 and ended up harly touching it over the original X-Box. I literally lost it for months and didn't mind at all, then found it under a bed covered in dust.

Aristotle, have you got Ghostbusters on the PS3? Is it any good? I've just pre-ordered it for the 360 but it came out on the PS3 months ago.

The interaction with the original actors in the hotel is really well done -

And is anyone going to get Wolfenstein, I can't decide if it looks crappy or not:

Even in the walkthrough he gets stuck for the last 3 minutes. I haven't bought a game in months. Need something.

Haha brilliant, I'm the same though, my PS3 is sat gathering dust.

I really want Ghost Busters as im such a huge fan of the first film and still have a soft spot for the sequel but I've heard that it doesn't go far enough, i bet i still get it though.

Mmmm really not sure about Wolfenstein, i really want it to be good but compared with the likes of Gears of War i don't think its moved on enough, hope I'm wrong though

I ended up watching half an hour of that Ghostbusters walkthrough, it does an amazing job of putting you in the middle of Ghostbusters 3. The script is actually v.good and the voice acting on the whole is excellent.

I really liked the Wolfenstein on the X-Box, to be honest this new one looks like a big step backwards, it lacks charm and the gameplay looks much worse.

Yeah and the fact that Bill Murray sounds like he's actually into it rather than just delivery some bored phoned in lines is worth the price alone for me

Thats what i thought, its going to have to get some amazing reviews i think for me to shed out my beer vouchers on it.

Three lights is the worst. Four lights usually means it's a dusty cable. That one's going to have to go back.

Can you imagine the forms you'd have to fill out to send that back? and i bet they don't give you a replacement while its being fixed either.
