I've never owned a console in my life. Though, my girlfriend's sister recently joined the NAVY and had no time to play, so she gave us her X-Box 360 and I played through all 3 Halo games and really liked them. Other than that and God of War (the first one) I haven't really played through an entire game.

I've been to PAX though, the only video game convention started from a web comic. So that makes me a hardcore gamer by default.
Anyone play Bioshock? Is it as awesome as it sounds?

I haven't played it through but I've only heard great things about Bioshock. Played the demo. The setting is fantastic, as are the water effects. Kinda like the Shining hotel underwater.
