My brother has a PS3 now. The controller arrived broken (new). When the machine overheats the hdmi cable comes loose at the back and we lose the picture.
We hardly play it.

I was clearing out the family loft yesterday - as it ended up I threw out the original X-Box but kept the Dreamcast. Now there was a console.
AristotleP have you played Hard Rain yet, what's your opinion on it?

And yeah, Dreamcast was awesome, I remember getting excited about something as little as the lens flare on Sonic Adventure.

I didn't like Indigo Prophecy so I prob won't like Heavy rain. |

I love how this went from COD:MWF2 to an XBOX360 vs. PS3 topic lol. I have 360 I play PS3 at my brothers until he wised up and bought a 360. The only thing about PS3 that is better is free live play, but when the live sucks, everyone lags no matter the connection, and thier version of Arcade blows, it makes since that it is free. The controllers for PS have always bothered me I am 6'5"(196cm) tall and about 250lbs.(like 18 stone)I'm a big dude! So I have always felt like I was just gonna crush them, and the anolog sticks feel flimsy. The 360 controllers are great they are just big enough they don't feel like they are gonna break while at the same time they aren't so big they are hard to use. Also (loser American question) what does pants mean they way ya'll use it?

In the UK 'pants' is short for underpants (ie boxers, y-fronts etc). What you call pants, we call trousers.
Never been a fan of the Playstation controller. The games are almost identical on both systems, so it just came down to the controller for me.

Someone said something like I thought it was pants. Talking about a film. And figured it was either how we say i thought it was shit meaning its a bad film, or I thought it was the tits meaning a good film, but I didn't know which.
And that is pretty much how I felt about it, too.
Another question is that the right units of measure? I only used them because I do MMA and thats what they used.

Pants means bad. So it means they didn't like the movie.
In the UK we tend to use 'feet' for height (eg '5 foot 6 inches') and 'stone' for personal weight (eg 'he weighs 11 and a half stone').

Glad I know that now.
I really thought stone was right and I was exremely unsure about the height because I have seen alot where it was cm but I know a have met a couple of people from the UK who used feet. So thanks for clearing that up.
