Details on next Duncan Jones movie

Few directors make as assured debuts as Duncan Jones did last year with Moon. So his next film, titled Source Code, is definitely something to look forward to. As well as this talented up and coming director the film is also pulling together a pretty intriguing cast list. It was announced today that Michelle Monaghan (Gone Baby Gone, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) will be starring as the love interest to the already confirmed lead Jake Gyllenhaal. Also in talks to join the project is Vera Farmiga, who recently put in a top performance in the brilliant Up in the Air, a performance which has earnt her a nomination for the best supporting actress Golden Globe.
Source Code continues Duncan Jones's love affair with science fiction. It centers on a soldier (Gyllenhaal) who, as part of an experimental government program to investigate a terrorist incident, finds himself in the body of an unknown commuter living and reliving a harrowing train bombing until he can find out who is responsible for it. It's an interesting and original concept which, with this talented cast and director, could turn out to be something very special.

Filming is due to begin in March with a 2011 release expected.

Interesting and original? It's The Matrix meets Die Hard 3 ... the only thing of interest in this is Duncan Jones, cause to be honest, when someone said "Hey, want to see a movie about a guy trapped on the moon with a creepy robot" I couldn't claim it sounded that interesting and original either.
