Bryan Cranston joins Pixar's John Carter of Mars

Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston is set to star in the forthcoming Pixar adaptation of John Carter of Mars. The film, to be directed by Wall-E and Finding Nemo's Andrew Stanton, is an epic adventure set on Mars (or Barsoom) where the titular Mr Carter beats up big green aliens the size of James Cameron's big blue aliens and hangs out with a naked princess. Observe:



See? Reeks of awesome. Cranston plays an a Civil War Colonel that clashes with Carter, and will join Taylor Kitsch Willem Dafoe, Samantha Morton and Mark Strong. Cranston is a welcome addition to an already stellar cast (get it? stellar? I know, I know). If you haven't been checking him out in Breaking Bad, you owe it to yourself, but for now enjoy some of his incredible dancing skillz:
