When people made a fuss about the new Clash of the Titans trailer and it's crappy ass tagline/music/cut, I decided to see how much better the original did. Um...the narrator DESTROYS any possible excitement about the movie you might have by sounding hellabored telling you about the movie. The narration is as follows: the myth the magic the mystery the majesty CLASH OF THE TITANS the good the evil the danger the daring CLASH OF THE TITANS the combat the courage the splendour the spectacle CLASH OF THE TITANS before history beyond imagination CLASH OF THE TITANS It's like a checklist is being read out, see for yourself: It's much better like this: TITANS. WILL. CLASH. |

Oh wow. Just ... wow. I predict the scene where he improves his golf game via fly fishing AND the scene where his dad throws a tantrum on the golf course, to be among the most awkward scenes in film history. |

I figured out the twist. Robert Duvall is him and Melissa Leo is the cute ginger and the golfer goes through a time warp so his future self can teach him a lesson.
