'Buried' trailer

Here's a trailer for the upcoming film Buried, haven't heard of it? that's probably because it's a bit of an underground film. Lame jokes aside, trailer is pretty intriguing, well sort of. From the trailer I'm dubbing it 'Cloverfield in a Coffin'.

Buried is about a guy named Paul (Reynolds) a U.S. contractor working in Iraq. After he’s attacked by a group of Iraqis he randomly wakes up to find himself buried alive inside a coffin. Armed with only a lighter and a cell phone he’s in a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap. I assume that the whole film doesn't take place inside the coffin, I think even Hitchcock would have struggled to make an interesting film entirely set within those confines. That aside, it's a chance for Ryan Reynolds to flex his acting muscles instead of his real muscles like he usually does.

The film debuts at this years Sundance film festival, which is happening over the next couple of weeks.

Can you get a good signal underground? If I was underground, I wouldn't use a lighter to see. Or fire at all. That's just me though.

Good point. Especially underground in an Iraqi desert.

Is anyone else unconvinced by his scream/look of horror in the poster? He looks like he wants to be fed.

Yeah, in the preview. He seems pretty calm. I think the last thing I would think of is filming myself. There would a lot of pounding and lifting involved. If he only has 90 minutes. Might as well just swallow the lighter fluid. I don't think the lighter would work in there anyway. Fire needs oxygen. So, lighting it could reduce his time drastically. If it did work of course.

You seem to know an awful lot about being in this situation Stephen, is there something you want to tell us?

I don't know. I could be wrong.
and yes, I bury people and give them some materials, so they can try to get out.
