New Hot Tub Time Machine Poster. Did I say that already? Oh. Time travel. Messes me up every time.



Weird how they play up that the characters are in different bodies. Maybe they'll be making more of that than we saw in the trailer. Also, please note the use of Apatow background color/head combo, previously seen here:






And in a million other places. That is now THE THING to do for comedy posters. It's ubiquitous. And it's here in the Hot Tub Time Machine poster.

Another thing that you see in every comedy poster that comes out (Romantic Comedies included) is the red text/white background of American Pie. So the poster for Hot Tub Time Machine is formulaic, but manages to break the formula by...putting a formula in the middle. Huh. They put a formula in their formula so they could be uniquely generic.
