Much to everyone's surprise, Die Hard 4 was actually pretty good. The digitally de-wrinkled Bruce Willis proved that he can still dodge bullets with the best of them, and Justin Long was great as the sidekick. So with that films success it isn't a surprise to learn that a 5th film can be expected soon.

Talking to MTV over the weekend the Bruce said

Quote
"I think we're going to do a 'Die Hard 5' next year."

Straight to the point, that's why we love him. He also added his opinion on what 5 should be about...

Quote
"It's got to go worldwide. That would be my contribution to it,"

Stick to acting Bruce. When will people learn that bigger doesn't equal better with sequels!?

Willis also told MTV that M. Night Shyamalan is still thinking about doing an Unbreakable 2.
Quote
"I talked to [Shyamalan] over the holidays, and he is still thinking about doing the fight movie between me and Sam that we were gonna do," he said. "We chose to do the origin

A lot of people didn't like Unbreakable, I thought it was ok, verging on good. Couldn't care less whether a sequel is made or not though, but i'm sure someone out there does care.

Which Bruce Willis sequel are you anticipating more?

I loved the hell out of Die Hard 4, but the ending with the jet is just SO over the top that the franchise officially moved into spoof territory.

Unbreakable is almost a masterpiece. He needs to make two more, not just one.

Yeha, I couldn't believe Die Hard 4 got a critical beating when I saw it - it's just like the others but on a grander scale.

I don't know if an Unbreakable sequel makes sense. I love that movie...

Unbreakable is the first act of a "normal" superhero story - gaining and learning powers. It would be aweosme to see act two - fighting the main villain.

I don't disagree, but I'm just worried a sequel will taint the original, as so often happens. I'm encouraged by the fact that Unbreakable 2 is essentially the movie that they wanted to make first time around, but Shyamalan decided to do an origin instead...

Yeah, and with The Happening under his belt I'm worried he'd screw it up.
