John Krasinski as captain america too doubtful?

he could surprise us all if he might get the role. After seeing some good pictures of him he doesn't look so wrong for the role anymore.

With the mask on he looks like Ryan Reynolds with a bigger nose.

I love the hat and goggles in the bottom picture, hilarious.

I still struggle to see this as a good casting, a couple of the others on the studio's wishlist were not too bad.

I wouldn't want to be the guy directing this movie, there are so many challenges with this character.

First: Captain America always has and always will suck.

Second: John Krasinski is NOT an action hero, even a sucky one.

Third: Thor. I mean really. What the fuck. It's Thor. Directed by Kenneth Shakespeare. And it's fucking Thor.

Fourth: Captain America will be directed by the guy that fucked up The Wolfman.

Fifth: a guy who's powers are a highly effective defense shield is going to, at some point in the future, run around with a fucking god when we could have a guy that wears a flying weapon run around with a giant green monster.

Sixth: Fucking Thor.
