Told you Sam Rockwell was good. It was a disappointment in quite a few ways, but still a pretty decent movie. There were some great highlights. Total mixed bag.

Amazing job. I love that home edit suites can now get so close to the real thing.

That was flipping excellent, those FX were spot on, think I'd prefer to see this than Iron Man 2

HUH larious. Those kids rock. And I lvoe the  mix of shitty acting and great VFX. So cool and, to be honest, much better than Iron Man 2.

And for the records, sections of Iron Man 2 were awesome. They just didn't know how to cut the fat and REALLY wimped out on the action scenes. Roarke and Rockwell steal the movie.

Yeah, that first fight with Whiplash seemed as though it was going to be fantastic, better than anything from the first movie, and then it was over before it started!

Yep. It all happened too fast. No proper build up, not arcs to the fighting scenes really. I liked that Happy Hogan took him out with the car, but why the HELL would he take Pepper with him? Oh yeah, so they could take the powerful female character they created in the first one and reduce her to a shrieking damsel  Wink

Ah well. Could have been much MUCH worse. I am very nonplussed about what Marvel puts out now, though. If the'yre not gonna do everything with unique flair and style, what's the point? They lost Xmen and Spiderman, these are the only good characters they really have left (in terms of marketability anyway, the next tier might have some fun characters but they get WEIRD). Ant Man? I just don't see that being a hit. In the hands of Wright it might be BRILLIANT, but I doubt it's gonne rake it in

It's like he's trying to ruin his career all over again.
