Megan foc will not be returning for the third instalment of the Transformers franchise. Her character Mikaela will be written out and a new love interest for Shia LaBeouf's character Sam will replace her. The news comes after Fox's well-reported criticisms of Transformers director Michael Bay and the subsequent retaliatory remarks of his crew members, none of which is said to influence the decision.
Fox is claiming the decision to leave the project was hers, whilst those working on the sequel have claimed that it was in the best interst of the story to create a new love interest for Sam Witwicky.
Rumours have already begun regarding the eye-candy next in line to fill Mean Fox's shoes, most of them seemingly baseless and possibly just excuses to put
hottie galleries in an article. Those mentioned thus far also seem to either
not fit the Bay Babe mold at all or be
completely mismatched as a love interest for Shia LaBeouf. I would have thought that they'd go for a relative unknown once again, which is what Megan Fox was when she originally starred in the first movie, as was Isabel Lucas when she was introduced as her rival in Revenge of the Fallen. Inexpensive, unfamiliar, good-looking faces are the way to go.
