The trailer for Disney's forthcoming Rapunzel adaptation Tangled

It's...more than a little disappointing. It seemed like Disney were taking a different approach with this film - being influenced artistically by a famous Rococo painting, returning to their fairytale roots - but instead of something like a 21st Century Beauty and the Beast, we're greeted by Shrekpunzel. Seriously, all that's missing from that trailer is a Dreamworks logo. All self-referential and tongue-in-cheek when it had such potential as something sincere and played straight...
"She's been grounded! For, like, forever!"
Her hair looks great though.
