The new Predator movie has already released posters and a trailer, but only now do we get our first look at the new face of the Predators themselves. Take a look for yourself below.

Fearsome, familiar, and all-new. Much like the project itself. Hopefull fans will be relieved that the look of the Predators wasn't abandoned or radically changed seeing as how pretty much anything goes in a reboot.

And the thing does look pretty terrifying. No doubt the casting still bothers some, with certain fans worried it won't live up to the manliness of the original. Don't worry, the original movie isn't going anywhere:

Folks are pissed about Adrien Brody? Cause he's skinny? That's idiotic, they'd rather have Arnold?

Yeah, they'd rather have Arnold. Or at least that's what I see in the comments on mos sites. Even the articles on some. Complaints about Brody and Grace and 'where's our body builder' kind of talk.

Where those images from P?

That's so bizarre to me. I mean ... I kind of understand it, but just cause the first one had a body builder doesn't mean the sequels need to follow that formula ... the body-builder vs an alien formula ... it's like the people taht freaked out that Hugh Jackman wasn't as short as Wolverine in the comics. I mean ... seriously? I know he's not an exact match, but it's not like they got Gary Coleman to do it. And Hugh's face LOOKS like Wolverine, and he's a phenomenal actor.

Topher Grace got a REAL bad rap for Spider-Man 3. I understand why fans hated changing Eddie Brock to a Peter Parker clone, and hated that Venom CONSTANTLY removed his awesome face to speak out of Topher's face, but I really think he did well with what he was given. That scene in the church was genuinely creepy, and that's all cause of him.

Also, Adrien Brody rocks. So pumped for this movie.

Literally saw this the second I left the board:

Quote
A lot of nerds raised a skeptical eyebrow when Adrien Brody was cast in the lead in the Predators movie. Despite King Kong, which was more about running than fighting, Brody just doesn't seem like much of an action hero -- he won an Academy Award for The Pianist, for fuck's sake, and he was supposed to step into '80s-prime-era Arnold Schwarzenegger's shoes? Pshaw! Preposterous! Poppycoc--

Quote
Oh. Damn. Well, he's still not '80s Schwarzenegger -- who is, really? -- but I think he'll do.

I hope he's bowing down to him. What an ending that would be.

I thought they'd been really restrained. They didn't even show  a Predator in the trailer for Predators, and everyone has known what they look like for two decades...

I'm with Mango, I'm upset they've revealed the new breed of Predator already. It's taken the only mystery away for me. And now we can now see how it ends, with Brody half naked covered in mud, echoing Arnie in the first movie.

Absolutely mate, how can you get excited about a film that you know the ending for? and even if that isn't the ending it can't be a million miles off as there's no way they'll kill of Brody.

I totally agree it sucks, but it's the new norm. Maybe the movie will blow, but this kind of press is not an indicator. They do this for EVERYTHING now ...

That's very true dalmationjaws, personally i don't think it works for this kind of movie, maybe Legally Blonde 3: Predictable Dross it would though

Wait, are we saying we didn't think Adrien Brody, the lead in Predators, was going to kill a Predator?  Huh Cheesy
