Have you seen Let The Right One In, T.Ross?
Oh yeah there are some older threads where me and Dalmatianjaws were ranting and raving about this film. I caught it at our local Indi film theater. when it was first released. I also posted a thread a while back about how the first release of the dvd to America had dumb down subtitles. I was so mad about that because i had bought the dvd the first day it came out. It took a long time for them to re-release the dvd. So beware if you rent or buy this, make sure the back of the dvd say Subtitles-English (theatrical). If it doesn't say theatrical, then DON'T buy it or even rent it. A lot was changed and most of the dark humor was completely removed.
The original is a masterpiece. The guy who did the score for Star Trek and Up does the score for Let Me In, so to me tha'ts a perk. But I was hoping to see the remake shown in a different vision, but this remake looks exactly the same. I like how it is titled, Let Me In is the title of the book.
I will go see this as soon as it comes out. I love that Chloe Mortez stars in this movie, she did an amazing job in the film Kick Ass, (which to me is the best film of the year so far). I've always admired her work, since she first appeared in The Amityville Horror remake. She is a very talented young actress that I hope to see a lot more of in the years to come.
