Seraphim Falls is pretty boring, just to warn you.

I hope that's the Japanese Dark Water rather than the US remake, it's so much better in every way. US remake is so unfrightening it ends up being a drama by mistake.

Always the Asian original. Every American remake has ranged from mediocre to downright awful.

Seraphim Falls is research for a script someone wants me to direct.

Is that an American remake of an Asian horror film?

That's depends on what you mean by 'remake', 'Asian' and 'horror film'.

Open Range boring? Or Escape from New York boring?

Huh?

Escape From New York is a little slow and visually dull. Open Range I've only seen clips of.

I just tend to love films that other people thing are boring (Open Range) and find movies boring that other people love (Escape from New York).   Though, I did rewatch EFNY this morning (why it was on my mind) and it's better the second go round. Once you realize they didn't have the budget for balls to the wall action you appreciate what they did on a shoestring.

Escape From New York needs a Tron Legacy style sequel.
