Anyone else playing this?

I mean obviously not Aristotle, he's stuck in the 90s with a Playstation.  Wink

I was at my mates at the weekend and he has it, only played the first 20 minutes but what a game. Graphics are spot on and the stories really compelling. How far you into Sheridan?

Suprising (not) reaction from Aristotle there.

Well I played Halo 3 more than any other game in the last 5 years, and love it. This is graphically a pretty big step up, and the single player is fairly jaw dropping at times. I haven't had much opportunity for games since it came out so I've done the first chapter of the campaign and spent about 4 hours in multiplayer. Multiplayer is a little frustrating at points, there's no real sense of co-op in the co-op battles (it's just a mad rush for points) and the team battles can get dominated by one asshole with a long range gun/tank - there's nothing more annoying than a sniper killing all 3 of you in 5 seconds as you run for cover. My favourite multiplayer game of the last 12 months is Battlefield BC 2, and that doesn't have the lone-prick issue (it's got the lone-prick helicopter issue but anyway...). Overall I need to give it more time, but I'm pretty impressed with the step forward.
The multiplayer level called Spire is very cool.

I got into gaming a bit last year for the first time, mainly because I had an XBox given to me, along with the first three halo games. I was really impressed with those games, and the evolutions between all three. Very excited to try out Reach, I hear great things.

I'm so glad the single player is that good because a lot of recent xbox releases have concentrated on the multiplayer which is annoying seeing as the bulk of the games are single player predominantly.
I'm looking to pick up Dead Rising 2 this weekend

I probably play Battlefield Bad Company 2 multiplayer more than anything else. Battlefield 3 looks amazing.

Haven't played much Battlefield, like I said I'm big on COD, but Battlefield 3 actually looks like I might want to try it out. I'm waiting for MWF3.

I had seen still-shots and heard it was good, but those graphics are amazing. I think I'm gonna have to buy it.
