Just spotted this under The Town's box office roundup -

Warner Bros just offered Affleck Superman to helm on Chris Nolan's suggestion. (But Affleck likely will turn it down.)

Dude starred in Daredevil because he loves comics, why would he turn down a Superman movie under Chris Nolan?

It's a hard film to get right, very hard work, fx driven, all consuming two years of your life (acting in Daredevil is only 3 months), and a huge project means a thousand cooks all wanting to get involved with their crappy ideas. Smaller movies are free-er.


Either that or he misread it as an offer to reboot Blankman.


Oddly enough he played Superman in Hollywoodland.
