Killer Croc is the latest Rumoured Bat-Villain

Agreed, thin at best. Nolan has always gone for the more 'realistic' bat enemies. The Riddler is the obvious choice, although he might be a bit too similar to the Joker. Anarky from the late 80's could work, although he's probably far too unknown and he's yet to face a female antagonist, so maybe Harley Quinn?

I agree it's thin, but I'm inclined to believe Croc could be a possible villain if he fits thematically. The idea that Nolan will avoid 'unrealistic' bat-foes is a fallacy, he'll just ground them in reality. Croc is physically less of a stretch than Two-Face depending on the artist that interprets him, and his story is a millio times more realistic than Ra's (before Nolan adapted Ra's Al Ghul, anyway). A huge guy with a hideous skin disease and sharpened teeth seems well within Joker-realms of possibility to me:

Killer Croc is such a meh character, if he's there they must have found a radical re-interpretation. Whatever happens there's no way he'll the main villain. Batman in the swamps would be cool.

Oh yeah, the main villain would have to be a lot better unless the plot didn't focus on the villain at all.

Oh i agree Harley is awful, she'd be a side kick at best and with no joker around she's practically null and void. I think whichever villain he goes for will work though, he seems to have a knack
