I would have gone and seen it but it looks too similar to Skyline.  Wink

Yes, but it's Skyline done RIGHT.

My only two qualms, that shitty actress from Avatar and LOST, and the shot of the little girl sliding down the rope (just a bit too Michael Bay for my taste).

Otherwise, fucking amazing trailer. Awesome music choice and the VFX look stunning.

I like Michelle Rodriguez, she's good at what she does.

She's good at acting poorly? I'll buy that.

The whole superbadass girl thing. I buy it. She's like Gina Carano, but fake. Not many actresses carry it off.

I don't trust a trailer these days unless there's dialogue in it. The dialogue reveals so very much. Paul Blart Mall Cop would have made a good trailer with a funny music track and him bumbling around. Only a great director can get away with it, if it was Scorsese you just trust that the dialogue is up to scratch.

So I'm totally reserving judgement until trailer 2. Although I like the way the smaller spaceships move.

Ala Zach Snyder, huh?

You're completely correct, but for once on this forum I get to be the optimist instead of the cynic, and I'm gonna take it.

Dialogue free teasers are some of the best teasers methinks. For teasing purposes. You're right about that making it tough to call though.
