The trailer for the upcoming Jake Gyllenhaal movie Source Code has hit the net. It's about a soldier who relives the last moments of another man's life in order to discover who blew up the train he was on. Check it out:
Weeeeeellllll. Source Code is the follow up to Moon, the critically acclaimed directorial début of Duncan 'Zowie Bowie' Jones. Moon took a few key elements from 70s sci-fi cinema and either executed them extremely well or subverted them completely, all with a stunning central (actually more like total than central) performance from Sam Rockwell. Needless to say, all eyes are on Jones to deliver something equally as impressive second time around. Does it look as though Source Code will deliver? It's hard to say, especially from this trailer. There's a little Quantum Leap, a little Deja Vu, a little 12 Monkeys, a little Groundhog Day - which in itself is no bad thing - but the end result seems a little generic. Then again, that may be the point. Making a movie that's really interesting look like a Tony Scott movie probably gives it a fairly good chance at getting an audience, something Moon failed to do in theatres.

What do you guys think of the trailer? And what do you expect from the movie?
