A great Hollywood spin on a true story. This movie tries to educate and entertain and where most movies fall down this kills.

Richard Gere's portrayle of a journalist who's rise to fame is haltered by an ever growing conscience and disgust in the inhumanties he documents is quite believeable.

Great performances all round, Terrence Howard does not dissapoint and it doesn't take a journalism degree to understand the plight of the journalists involved in documenting the many wars all over the world, especially the hidden wars that take place including the one in this movie.

Cinema with conscience and a film with flare.
