That is a really good point. I think I'm going to make this a found footage horror list instead. Not to block out District 9, just cause Found Footage is already the wrong term since it was coined for another genre all together, all 90% of this list is horror.

One of the best horror movies I've ever seen. Truly original and freaky. Its plot has been copied a couple of times since. It's about an internet streaming reality show, not really found footage, although it feels very similar -

Yeah My Little Eye is a great film, although you can spot the 'twist' a mile off. Also technically Quarantine and [REC] aren't found footage either, they're 'Live' footage

[REC] is recorded for later broadcast, did they chance that for Quarantine?

I could be wrong as its been a while since i saw it but i seem to remember that it was being broadcast 'Live' from the scene
