This is just a little sibling-thread to the Movie Poster Hall of Shame. Doesn't have to be full of old famously awesome posters, just ones that you see that really impress you and catch your eye, seeing as how the majority of posters are generic or downright awful. I'll start things off with both of the posters for Rabbit Hole, the second especially: The tyre-swing ruins the first poster a bit for me, but the second one is stellar.

This isn't necessarily a great poster, just a pretty nice one.

Haven't seen the film but I like the poster. It's a powerful image.

Let's keep it classy Passell. I like your picks twaddington, a lot, but I prefer this one: Design-wise at least, the actual likeness of Jean Seberg isn't great... Love the typography here:

I do actually think it's brilliant. Best use of orange and blue I've seen, that's for sure.

Ah, I was in the States when that came out, I remember seeing it outside the local cinema in Albany. There were a whole string of 'image made up of thousands of other images' posters after that.

Yeah, I had that Episode I poster. Epic. I know the Jaws one is crazy iconic, but aside from great iconography and the fact that it's classic, I actually don't find it all that appealing... That poster for The Fountain is pretty cool. If this one used an ambigram for the title it would be really awesome. The Shawshank Redemption poster is a major spoiler, wtf? Inglourious Basterds poster is cool; I bet £1,000,000 that ain't Maggie Gyllenhall on the Secretary poster.
