I wouldn't have thought so. It would have been a very different movie altogether if Ledger were alive.

It always baffles me why people would think that Nolan would use unseen footage of Ledger, surely Nolan comes across as an intelligent guy who knows that the best way to honour Ledger's Joker is to leave it with The Dark Knight.
