I've finally figured out how to do this -



In other words easily isolating an object from its background (without trying to cut round it) so it can be moved into another image. SO useful for front page stuff. If anyone wants to know I'll explain.

How well it works depends on how distinct the object is from its background.

There might be a way of refining it somewhere in the instructions here, though I found their further notes fairly baffling -
