Despite the cheesy dialog, this short film is beautiful. Make me wish they'd gone with a period style for the new feature film, that seems to inject new life somehow. X-Men First Class and Captain America look interesting, even though it's the same ole stuff.

Gah I hate short films where the credits are longer than the movie. The thing was about 30 seconds and ended so abruptly I thought it was going to come back on.

Ha, you try animating a short film in your spare time and see how long it ends up.

Saw this when it first hit, it *is* really awesome. Could definitely do with a few period superhero movies, and I'm glad Cap will scratch that itch. Stop saying nice things about X-Men: First Class though, please. Thanks.

I'm fully aware First Class will suck, but period piece superhero films really get me, apparently. I should really watch The Rocketeer.

Same. For Jennifer Connelly alone. I'm trying to think of more superheroes they could do in a period setting that might be awesome. They wanted to do Wonder Woman like that for a while.
