X-Men First Class, First Image

We have the very first look at the cast of X-Men: First Class, in costume, in a row, down below!



Okay, so, this horrible photoshop job depicts Magneto, Moira MacTaggart, Emma Frost, Azazel, Beast, Havok, Angel, Mystique and Professor X himself. Tell us which third of the characters you don't care about/haven't heard of/are excited to see in the comments!

The first thing you'll notice about this - okay maybe not the first thing unless you're a nerd with a bone to pick - is that Magento and Xavier are in uniform. Which is weird as hell. Not that they've never worn uniforms, it's just that the whole teacher/student dynamic is messed up a little if the teachers wear school uniform, right? Emma Frost is half naked, which will no doubt please fans of the character and fans of January Jones alike, but it will be interesting to see how a superhero that REALLY looks like they're in their underwear comes off onscreen...it's quite surprising they felt the need to stay true to the character there. You can quite clearly see Havok has a symbol on his chest, so the costumes are somewhat personalised, which was the case with Bryan Singer's X-Men uniforms, but it was less pronounced, and quite easy to ignore with black on black designs.

When this was first announced, I got quite excited. After all, the cartoon series X-Men: Evolution was fantastic and I hoped they were doing a similar thing with this.

Nope. This is dead in the water. I can only muster up the energy to look forward to further images of Emma Frost.

Yeah, you think it'd be quite easy not to bugger up, but they seem to have done it in every conceivable way, and we haven't even seen a shred of footage yet.

This film honestly looks terrible they ruined the X-Men with the first filmthey didn't go with the comics and this film will further screw everything up with X-Men.
