Saw Vacancy and it's quite good. A little weak in the ending, but good performances and set-up.

There are a few plot holes, but it's really more of a suspense than a horror. Very Hitchcock, or at least tries to be.

As for Cloverfield, it's a brilliant way to film that kind of movie, the first real movie to impliment that style in a truly artistic way. Hands down the best movie about 911.

I really enjoyed Vacancy as well, nicely shot and the pace was just about right even if the ending could have been done better.

Agree with dalmatianjaws on The Happening, should have been called The Non-Event

The Rite was a let down. I went and saw it at the theater. I thought it was worth a watch based on the Anthony Hopkins factor. I thought wrong.
