Horror Question From Reader

There has been a horror movie advertised in the theatre maybe 6 mos ago that I do not remember the name. Maybe you can help. I don’t think it was ever released or at least not in my area. The preview tells of a young man meeting a girl on the internet and him & his friends take a trip to meet the girl supposedly at her house in the boonies and something goes wrong. Sound familiar?

Anyone know? Is it Catfish?

Yeah, sounds like Catfish, only it's not a horror, the trailer only makes it seem like one.

If it's not horror how would you describe it? (I haven't seen it)

It's a hipster documentary about two brothers, one of which falls in love with a girl on the internet. The other brother decides to film it. It soon becomes apparent that the girl isn't what she seems. They call her on her lies, she balks, and they go to her house where they find out a big secret that's actually quite heartbreaking. Then they go home. End of movie. Nothing horrorific about it, just one weird scene where they go to her address and no one is home and it's dark and kind of scary. Moment lasts about five minutes total but that's all they focus on in the trailer.
