Rapper and one-time movie star Eminem is set to take to the silver screen once more in a boxing drama called Southpaw, focusing on a fighter overcoming tragedy in the ring. The latest news is that Training Day director Antoine Fuqua may be abandoning his Tupac Shakur biopic in favor of the Slim Shady show.
The script for Southpaw comes from Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter and is said to mirror Eminem's life thematically in much the same way as his previous outing 8 Mile did, although there would presumably be fewer autobiographical elements.
How do you feel about the prospect of a boxing movie starring Eminem? And what of the choice of director?
