Avengers Poster

We have our first official glimpse at The Avengers, assembled, in the form of a new promotional poster from Marvel Studios, take a look:



Now, this poster has artwork not dissimilar to the concept art that we saw from Captain America and Thor that was eventually shown to be box art for Hasbro, so it's safe to assume that that will be the case with this too. A few noteworthy things:

1) This is our first look at Hawkeye in costume. Very ultimatesy, with a hint of purple.

2) That is the new Hulk, same as the old Hulk. Possibly nakeder.

3) Captain America's costume is, as we already new, slightly different from the version that appears in The First Avenger. Better, I'd say.

4) Black Widow's hair looks just as crazy as it did in Iron Man 2, which is not cool. Hopefully the fact that ScarJo has been running around with considerably shorter locks lately means that this image is misleading.

What do you make of it? I hope they find a better way to feature all of the characters on the official poster than the falling-through-the-air-with-the-greatest-of-ease thing they went for here, but otherwise it does fan the flames of excitement a little.

Looks suitably comic book, although with the addition of the skyscrapers in the background it makes it look like they can all fly and the proportions are all way off
