The first trailer for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is out! It's AMAZING!
See? Told you. That trailer promises a pretty great movie, and although trailers can be deceiving, I choose to have faith in the new Mission Impossible movie. Partly because I'm a sucker for spy movies, liked the last instalment a great deal, and think the sun shines out of Brad Bird's backside. But mostly because of that trailer.
Tom Cruise is back as IMF agent Ethan Hunt and is joined by Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, Josh Holloway and Jeremy Renner (who last we heard was being groomed as a replacement for Cruise, but seeing as how he's since landed the gig as the next central character of the Bourne franchise, this may no longer be the case). Michelle Monaghan is conspicuously absent and Ving Rhames is slated to appear, but doesn't feature in the trailer...
