They were a remote tribe, but they'd been in contact a few time before. So SEMI staged. Of course, this info is also info from the internet so who the hell really knows.

The comments on YouTube suggest someone was sent ahead to warn them cameras were coming so to hide all their modern tools and t-shirts/jeans etc, the idea was they'd benefit from malaria tablets as charity. There's more on the net but I haven't time to bone up at the mo.
