The Thing (prequel?) Trailer

Behold, in all its Carpenter-esque glory:



Things to note: it seems less like a prequel and more like a very deliberate, loving remake. The music, sets, and even some of the secondary casting are almost identical to Carpenter's The Thing. Also, they all seem to speak English and a major plot point of Carpenter's version is that the Swedish (Norwegian!) team that came before could not communicate the danger to the American crew.

When it's all said and done, this looks like a really fun movie ... that's been done before but with less fake-looking CGI.
