Spidey is back and better darker than ever!



I love the look and feel of this trailer, up until the Wolfenstein sequence at the end. I like it when movies inform video games, not the other way around. Still, this is an impressive looking trailer that actually made me want to see Mark Webb's version even though we're still in the aftermath of Raimi's Spider-Man 3

What are your thoughts? Is this reboot needed? Wanted? Are you excited, apathetic, or angry?

Cool. I was a little skeptical at first.

I don't know how I feel about it. I was getting v.bored of Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man and Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane, but I wish it had Sam Raimi's visual invention.

Yep. I have a feeling this will be a good movie that would have been a smash hit if it came before Raimi's version, but I predict a mediocre performance cause no one cares anymore.

I don't like how Peter Parker looks and Emma Stone is not a good choice.

In what way T.Ross, in both those cases. I'm curious.

I read a lot of the old Spiderman comics growing up. I don't like the new image of Peter Parker. Even modernizing him doesn't look correct. Emma Stone kind of annoys me, I'm not saying she is a bad actress, but I don't see this as a story that needs her humor. She is a good improv actress, I just don't want this to be dumb.

On the other hand, the trailer doesn't look that bad..

Interesting you say that, she annoys me too. Thought I was the only one. My least favourite part of Zombieland. Doesn't look like she's wisecracking here much, yet. And I hope Rhys Ifans suprises me by knocking it out of the park as the villain, I've always thought he was a bad actor, and more often way too hammy. He was even pretty bad in Harry Potter. My heart has basically sunk with every bit of casting news for this movie, but hopefully they pull it together.

The trailer is slick and well put together aside like dalmatianjaws said the last part. But thats just it, it looks like it could've been edited from unused bits of any of the other Spidey movies.
