The first trailer for Hammer Films' upcoming 'Woman in Black' has just been released, and it looks to be everything spook junkies had hoped it would be. Based on Susan Hill's novel, the story follows a young lawyer who travels to a remote village where he discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman is terrorizing the locals. The renowned horror studio Hammer has been revived for a couple of years now but this is the first film made under the name since its rebirth to be shot in Britain. Jane Goldman(Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class) penned the screenplay and directing is James Watkins, the man behind chav horror 'Eden Lake'. Here's the trailer. Before you watch I must warn you it contains several of the spookiest things known to man: clowns, faces in windows and scary little girls- all the time accompanied by the dreaded tinkle of a music box.

Many have criticised the actor's performance as the boy wizard over the years, so he will surely be eager to prove his doubters wrong. Should the film succeed and his performance be praised, then it could help him forge a successful acting career beyond Hogwarts. I certainly think he chose well in making 'The Woman in Black' his first post-Potter role as it has the potential for both commercial and critical success.
