A new international trailer for Nicholas Winding Refn's 'Drive' has just been released. Starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan,‘Drive’ is the story of a Hollywood stunt driver who moonlights as a top-notch getaway driver-for-hire in the criminal underworld.The synopsis makes it sound like the sort of film that Jason Statham or Vin Diesel might star in, but don’t be fooled, this is no ‘Fast and Furious’. Earlier this year, 'Drive' blazed a trail of glory through Cannes when critics demonstrated their admiration for it with a 15 minute standing ovation and the jury gave Winding Refn the award for best director. Interestingly, the director only became attached to the project after being chosen by the film’s star Ryan Gosling. Gosling was given the power to choose the film’s director as part of his contract and chose Refn being a fan of the director’s previous works, which include ‘Valhalla Rising’ and the brilliant ‘Bronson’.
