Arnie and Bruce to star in 'Expendables 2'

One of the reasons action movie throwback ‘The Expendables’ was a bit of a letdown was because the man most associated with the genre, Arnold Schwarzenegger,  only made a brief cameo. Sure there was also the terrible script, laughable acting and delusion that anyone actually wants to see a bunch protein-guzzling pensioners compare pecs, but that’s nothing a little more Arnie wouldn’t have papered over.

Well ‘Expendables 2’ is coming, whether you want it or not, and Arnie is back. Yes, the former Mr Universe has signed on to star in the sequel, with a role that is “substantial”. Also returning with more than a cameo is Bruce Willis. The two join Stallone and all the motley bunch from the original in the sequel. As if that weren’t enough, rumours are circulating that Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme may even make an appearance. Now all we need is Steven Seagal to sign up and this surely will be the greatest film of our time.
