I love love LOVE this concept, but it should be shot indie/docu-style, not found footage. It will interfere with the premise more than enhance it.

Also, it's the wrong type of acting for found footage. The dialog and performances are too "hollywood" for such a naturalistic sub-genre.

Still, I dig.

I quuuite like it. But still for some not-quite-clear reason it hasn't made it on the mental 'to-watch' list at all.

Might I suggest the alternative title 'Three Jerks With Jedi Powers'.

I'm hoping that it's more Disctrict 9 than Cloverfield in terms of their adherence to the format, where they just give up half an hour in and go full Hollywood. Those shots of the cop cars flying through the air at the end seem to indicate that's where they're going with it.

Agreed on the genericness of the title, should've gone with 'Power Trip' or something like that.

I'm now on board. Two reasons. One, I've read the synopsis and I like the story, the trailer is actually a bit back-to-front narratively. Two, it's written by John Landis's son, John Landis wrote some of my favourite movies when he was young and hungry.
