My list updated. I expect Fright Night will get bumped once I watch Shame, Melancholia, The Artist, The Descendants, Tinker Tailor, Tyrannosaur, and Tree of Life.

Thought I'd share this in the main 2011 thread rather than start a new one, click-thru to embiggen.  Cap slightly better received by critics, Thor slightly better received by audiences. |

Nice idea for a chart.
I mistakenly thought Cowboys & Aliens had done worse than that.
I'm surprised Green Hornet did that well at the box office, it made $227m worldwide theatrically. I really didn't like it at all.

The villain in Capt. America gets sucked into the Thor universe, and the Macguffin he's after only makes sense if you've seen Thor, I was pretty surprised how dependent they were on each other to kind of get the most out of the story.
