It's that time of year again boys. With just two months left of 2011 time to start making our lists and checking them twice. Here's what I've got going for myself:


Best Movies of 2011

1. Tree of Life
2. Attack the Block
3. Crazy, Stupid, Love.
4. Red State
5. Win Win
6. Hugo
7. Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
8. Take Shelter
9. Absentia
10. Corman's World

Honorable Mention: Fright Night, Drive, Another Earth, Shame, Midnight in Paris, Bridesmaids, The Artist



Possibilities I haven’t seen yet:

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

Worst Movies of 2011

Sucker Punch is one of the worst movies EVER.

My list updated. I expect Fright Night will get bumped once I watch Shame, Melancholia, The Artist, The Descendants, Tinker Tailor, Tyrannosaur, and Tree of Life.

Nice idea for a chart.

I mistakenly thought Cowboys & Aliens had done worse than that.

I'm surprised Green Hornet did that well at the box office, it made $227m worldwide theatrically. I really didn't like it at all.

The villain in Capt. America gets sucked into the Thor universe, and the Macguffin he's after only makes sense if you've seen Thor, I was pretty surprised how dependent they were on each other to kind of get the most out of the story.
