It got great reviews when it came out in the UK. Extremely tense and scary. We're about to do top 10 British flicks of the year and it's near the top.

I read a bunch of reviews when it was released and Paul who's writing this particular list has seen it. I'll be catching it on dvd this month, it was out in UK cinemas at the start of September.

I was so excited to see this as it was only showing in an indie theatre near me. When the film ended, which it does abrubtly, the entire audience joined chorus in a mumbled to loud 'What a load of bollocks'.
It was utter garbage, the reviewers who gave this the 4 stars surely must've meant 4 out of 10000000000, the lead actor is very good although his or the Directors choices are terrible as the character veers from the believable to the downright shake your head ridiculous, they set up the characters well enough, even if it drags on a tad too long.
The violence is the same as it goes from offscreen to in your face OTT violence that doesn't sit well with the character they did reasonably well to create.
All the 'bad' characters are telegraphed to the point where there are literally no surprises and the ending is literally laughable, as in people in the cinema i saw it in actually laughed it was that bad.

Ladies and gentlemen, that's how you throw a spanner in the works.

I really better watch it now.

Looks really interesting, but Battle: Los Angeles taught us to be wary of trailers that play melodic, creepy music over images of violence.

Also, I recently learned just how "silent" gun silencers really are:

Seems it'll work you just have to use subsonic shots.

Good luck with whatever you're planning.

Haha sorry mate, maybe i was having an off day but while there were good moments the characters were so all over the place and the bad guys were so blindingly obvious there was zero tension, plus the guy was such a dick that you didnt care if he lived or not but please watch it and tell me I'm a moron and not in the good 'movie' sense  Grin

dalmatianjaws, i used a few silenced weapons when i was in the army and you don't want to know how close you have to be for the subsonic ammunition to be fully effective!
