Emily Blunt Joins Wolf Man

After impressing in minor roles in Devil Wears Prada, Dan in Real Life and Charlie Wilson's War, Emily Blunt has now landed a part in music video director Mark Romanek's version of The Wolf Man.

Benicio Del Toro stars as Lawrence Talbot with Sir Anthony Hopkins playing his father Sir John Talbot. Filming has already started on the film, for an early 2009 release.

Rumour has it that Blunt will be playing the love interest, which would make sense seeing as 1. She's Hot and 2. She's female and 3. No other woman has been cast.

But then again she's 24 and Del Toro's 40. So in Hollywood she could be up for the role of the daughter or the shag.

Lets hope this version from the much loved Universal Monster catalogue isn't a pile of Camel Dung of Stephen Sommers size proportions.
